I’ve been in love with creating and playing games since I was a kid (some would argue I still am 😉). I live to tinker and solve problems: from home automation using Home Assistant notifying my phone when my wash is done to replacing the brake pads on my car. I can’t help myself and I lead life with the motto of “why can’t I do that?”. To relax I love a good spa trip or hike in the woods, and nothing beats some delicious food!

Playing Pokémon Blue & Red (I was Red, my brother was Blue) on the Gameboy Color. Obsessive doesn’t begin to describe the enthusiasm we had to the point where we played it with other kids our age on holiday.

Q

What was the game that triggered you looking at games as a career?

Answer
There isn’t really a game in particular, but damn did I love the PS1 Crash Bandicoot.

Q

Game that has inspired you the most?

Answer
Journey : a great lesson in Flow and teaching the player through showing not telling.

Q

What is the first game you worked on?

Answer
Unreleased Tank game that was co-dev with Wargaming + Splash Damage. First released is Outcasters.

Q

Games you’re the proudest to have worked on?

Answer
Outcasters for sure: Starting that project as a 7 person game jam and getting it to be a headline title on Stadia was great

If you weren't making games...

Answer
Probably something in Electronics.

Answer
Valkyrie Queen from God of War (2018)
