Three Years of Fuse Games

Last week, we celebrated the third anniversary of the formation of Fuse Games.

The games industry was quite a different place in January 2023. The challenges that myself, Al, Drei, Pete and Steve thought we'd face seemed pretty well known to us - we had plenty of work ahead of us for sure, and terrific support behind us to lean on - so off we went to build a new, independent game studio. Well, it's been quite the journey so far!

Those challenges we thought we'd see were compounded by a dramatically changing game development landscape - one that brought new hurdles, new insights and new experiences to us. In weathering these waves, we've grown from the 5 of us to now over 75 talented individuals coming together as an emerging, powerful team.

In addition, we have more than double that number, from a range of terrific collaborator studios across the UK and global game development industry, contributing to our debut game - Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ - that we announced to the world in December at The Game Awards.

We're looking ahead to an exciting 2026 as we enter the finishing stages of development, and we're ramping up our efforts - in partnership with Lucasfilm Games and Secret Mode - to start sharing more about this wonderful game we're building.

We're so grateful for those we've met and who have supported us so far in this wonderful endeavour, and we can't wait to share even more about the game that we're building.
